Cory Monteith Film Wins Award At Toronto

A film, All The Wrong Reasons, starring the late Cory Monteith (Glee) has won a Discovery Award at the Toronto International Film Festival.

It beat 27 other films in the festival. The movie is an exploration of post-traumatic stress disorder.

Taking five years to make, the movie was filmed during the summer of 2012 in Nova Scotia, Canada.

Monteith plays a shop manager whose wife (Karine Vanasse) suffers from the disorder.
As well as Monteith and Vanasse, the movie also stars Emily Hampshire and Kevin Zegers (Gossip Girl).

First-time director Gia Milani, said that the story was inspired by a close friend who is a member of the Canadian armed forces and suffered from mental problems after returning from a tough tour overseas.
