Paul Walker Tribute: “Wiz Khalifa – See You Again ft. Charlie Puth [Official Video] Furious 7

I wouldn’t normally post this kind of thing up on here, but I think this needs to be shown. Such a touching tribute to Paul Walker, accompanied by a moving song. I’ve just been to see Fast and Furious 7 and I cried at the beautiful way the ending was done as a tribute to Paul Walker.

The film is to be set in 1947, where Sherlock Holmes is in retirement. He lives with his housekeeper and her son, who is an amateur detective.

When a cold case from his past starts haunting him again, he is forced out of retirement and back onto the streets to solve the case. Unfortunately, Dr. Watson won’t be taking part in this adventure.

Harrison Ford Injured On Set Of Star Wars

Harrison-Ford

Whilst at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire starting his work on the new Star Wars movie, Harrison Ford received an injury after a hydraulic door hit him in the ankle.

After he hit the ground from being in pain, medics checked him over and thought it best to take him to the hospital.

An air ambulance then took Ford to the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford where they are checking him for other injuries as well as a suspected ankle injury and possibly chest injuries.

Seeing as Ford is unable to work, it’s safe to say that although the movie is still going ahead and being filmed, it may be pushed back to make way for the rest of Fords filming when he returns.

Let’s just hope the movie doesn’t get pushed back, and if it does, then not by much!

NEW Batman & Batmobile Revealed In Full

Looking at the newly released image, it shows Batman in front of the batmobile. The batmobile is a mix between Burton/Schumacher’s vehicle and Nolan’s tumbler, and Batman’s outfit is a mix between the old generations and the newer one. The kevlar plates on the suit have gone, being replaced by skin-like elements.

Viggo Mortensen Says Peter Jackson Chose CGI Over Subtlety on LOTR

Image

Viggo Mortensen has been looking back at Lord Of The Rings, being very critical towards Peter Jackson’s handling of the movies.

Mortensen says the first movie was a lot more subtle than the last two, which were just full of CGI.

“The first script was better organised,” says Mortensen. “Peter was always a geek in terms of technology but, once he had the means to do it, and the evolution of the technology really took off, he never looked back.”

“In the first movie, yes, there’s Rivendell, and Mordor, but there’s sort of an organic quality to it, actors acting with each other, and real landscapes; it’s grittier.”

“The second movie already started ballooning, for my taste,” Mortensen continues, “and then by the third one, there were a lot of special effects.”

“It was grandiose, and all that, but whatever was subtle, in the first movie, gradually got lost in the second and third. Now with The Hobbit, one and two, it’s like that to the power of 10.”

What are your opinions on this?

If you fancy watching something other than LOTR with Mortensen in it, why not try the new movie The Two Faces Of January.

Guardians Of The Galaxy Unveils Official Character Bios

Image

Seeing as Guardians Of the Galaxy is one of the less known Marvel properties, the studio decided to release a set of character bios to catch you up on who they all are.

PETER QUILL (Chris Pratt)
Peter Quill is an interstellar adventurer who was abducted from Earth at a young age. After recovering an ancient artefact, Quill must rally an unlikely team of cosmic misfits to prevent a powerful villain from destroying the galaxy.

GAMORA (Zoe Saldana)
Gamora is an orphan from an alien world who was raised by the mysterious Thanos to become the perfect weapon. As Thanos’ personal assassin, Gamora has earned a reputation as a formidable warrior. Gamora now seeks redemption for her past crimes.

DRAX (Dave Bautista)
A physical brute, Drax has a personal vendetta against Ronan, who killed his family. Now fuelled by pure rage, Drax will stop at nothing to take his revenge on the most dangerous being in the galaxy.

GROOT (Vin Diesel)
Groot descends from a race of walking flora and resembles a sentient tree. Despite his strange appearance and limited communication skills, Groot proves to be a valuable ally and a loyal friend—not only to his fellow bounty hunter Rocket but to the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy as well.

ROCKET (Bradley Cooper)
Rocket is a bounty hunter and mercenary whose mastery of weapons and battle tactics make him a formidable warrior, despite being a genetically altered, cybernetically enhanced, talking raccoon. The result of traumatic biological experimentation, Rocket is a genuine gun-toting badass and mechanical genius who has a huge chip on his shoulder.

RONAN (Lee Pace)
A Kree radical, Ronan continues to fight an ancient war between his people and the Xandarians. Ronan has struck a bargain with the Machiavellian Thanos — retrieve a mysterious artefact, and in exchange Xandar will finally be eradicated. Ronan leads his army to hunt down Peter Quill and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy when they come between him and his genocidal goal.

YONDU (Michael Rooker)
Blue-skinned Yondu is an interstellar bandit who has a less-than-perfect paternal relationship with Peter Quill. As leader of the outlaws known as Ravagers, Yondu and his cohorts pillage their way through the galaxy, taking whatever they want for solely their own benefit.

NEBULA (Karen Gillan)
A blue-skinned deadly assassin, Nebula is a loyal lieutenant in Ronan and Thanos’ employ. Her advanced skill set and cybernetic enhancements make her a valuable asset but her resentment of Thanos’ adoptive daughter Gamora may prove to be her Achilles heel.

KORATH (Djimon Hounsou)
Korath, a powerful ally of the villainous Ronan, is a feared intergalactic hunter. Korath is a pursuer who is dedicated to the kill and focuses only on one thing—his target.

RHOMANN DEY (John C. Reilly)
Rhomann Dey is a Corpsman in the Nova Corps, the planet Xandar’s military force. Dey is a loyal and trusted officer but his by-the-book attitude takes a detour when he develops an unlikely rapport with Peter Quill.

NOVA PRIME (Glenn Close)
Nova Prime Irani Rael is in charge of Nova Corps operations throughout the galaxy. From her base of operations on Xandar, the principled and efficient Nova Prime leads her forces with confidence. She defines her mission above all to protect the citizens of Xandar and keep peace.

THE COLLECTOR (Benicio Del Toro)
Taneleer Tivan, aka The Collector, is the obsessive keeper of the largest collection of interstellar fauna, relics and species in the galaxy. An enigmatic figure, The Collector operates out of a place in space aptly named Knowhere. When he encounters Peter Quill and his band, The Collector attempts to strike a dubious bargain.
