Actor Peter O’Toole has died at the age of 81.
His acting career spanned over 50 years, starring in some of the biggest movies that have ever been made. Hollywood has lost a great.
Rising to critical acclaim in the 1950’s and 60’s, he went on to do Lawrence Of Arabia, which launched his face onto the international stage
Some of his best films that he starred in were The Lion in Winter, Goodbye, Mr Chips, The Ruling Class, The Stunt Man, My Favourite Year, Venus, going on then to star in Ratatouille back in 2007, which introduced him to new audiences.
O’Toole has starred in another movie, Katharine of Alexandria, which doesn’t have a UK air date just yet, so we will be looking forward to seeing that movie when it comes out.
