Samuel L. Jackson has now been added to the long list of cast members that will be starring in Matthew Vaughn’s adaptation of The Secret Service.
The film follows a veteran secret agent who brings on a younger assistant and teaches him everything he knows.
Colin Firth and Taron Egerton are already cast and Vaughn had said that he wanted a big name to play the main character.
Apparently, Tom Cruise and Leonardo DiCaprio were considered for the role, before the decision was made to go with Jackson.
Emma Watson and Bella Heathcote are both being considered for the main female lead, which has yet to be cast.
The Secret Service will open in the US on 14 November 2014, with a UK date to be confirmed.
